What is Email Archiving Solution?

The Eurocloud’s email archiving is a unique solution built for companies that have legal or compliance requirement to hold a copy of all emails passing through their email servers. The archiving system keeps every email in a searchable archive where they can audited as per company policy.

Is it really unlimited mailboxes?

Yes! We do not have “mailbox” limit for archiving. Our pricing model is based on capacity/size of email archive rather than per mailbox.

What if I run out of disk space?

Well, you can upgrade to a bigger package. If you have some customized requirement then you can contact us and we would be glad to offer you a package that fit your needs.

Can I have a demo of your service?

Is my email server supported?

In order to answer this, we need to understand your email server infrastructure. Since our email archiving solution “proxies” email passing between users/internet to your email server, the setup should be such that it allows this requirement to be fulfilled. If you have acquired email hosting from us then we will setup archiving for you and all our email hosting is fully supported.

Is email archiving same as email backup?

No. Email archiving essentially stores email for legal or compliance reasons and the emails stored in archive cannot be changed in any way. Incoming, outgoing, spam; all emails are stored as is so data can be audited.

I am confused. Should I opt for email archiving?

Simply put, email archiving solution is for specialized use cases where keeping the email record is of utmost importance. It is used primarily for regulatory compliance, HR inquiries, proof of client communications and other similar corporate needs. If you think you have one of these requirements then you should opt for email archiving.
